Our Story
Fine Finishes Restorations is owned and operated by Nick Schissler. Throughout his life Nick has always been an avid car enthusiast. Spending many weekends and evenings working on his own projects or at a car show. Since the age of 17 he has worked in collision repair shops, first in auto body and then in painting, always dreaming of the day when he would be able to run his own shop.
Starting out, Nick worked in the body shop doing collision repair. He fine tuned his skills and expertise in auto body repair but after several years, he wanted to expand his skills and branch into painting. He was able to move to paint shop and start painting cars. He fine tuned his skills and expertise, later becoming a paint rep for a large paint company where he learned about the chemical components to paint products and how each part of the process works.
Nick has an eye for precision, always aware of the minute details and looking for the best possible final product. He strives to always improve upon his skills and techniques, completing hours of research on different manufacturers and learning how each car is assembled to bring it back to its original perfection.
